Spotting Phones, Securing Zones

The problem MOBOHAWK solves

Introduction of a mobile detector system to curb phone misuse in sensitive areas.

Hospitals to fine phone users via CCTV units, ensuring a serene environment for patients.

Detection of phone users at pedestrian crossings to enhance road safety.

Gas stations employing CCTV units to identify phone users and enforce fines, preserving fire safety.

Libraries implementing surveillance to maintain quiet studying environments.

Patrons reminded to keep noise levels low for peaceful reading.

Proactive measures to ensure safety and tranquility in designated areas.

Mobile detector system alerts and records individuals speaking on phones.

Pedestrian crossings detect and discourage phone use to prevent accidents.

Hospitals penalize phone users to maintain peaceful healing environments.

Gas stations identify phone users to uphold fire safety standards.

Libraries enforce quietness for optimal studying and reading experiences.

Enhanced safety and peace achieved through systematic detection and regulation.

CCTV units integrated into sensitive areas for efficient phone misuse detection.

Fines imposed on individuals disregarding phone use regulations in designated zones.

Challenges we ran into

Dataset Collection: Obtaining a real-time CCTV footages for our model was difficult as this kind of datasets are not available publicly and are protected under the surveillance department.

Image Processing: Standardizing and normalizing the images for training and testing was difficult as it contains a lot of noises and availability was also less as mentioned earlier.
