Challenges I ran into

Building MindMate was an exciting project, but there were definitely some challenges along the way. One of the biggest challenges we faced was integrating the OpenAI API with the UiPath platform. We had some trouble with API authentication and response parsing, which caused some bugs and issues with the workflow execution. We had to spend quite a bit of time consulting documentation, forums, and the support of the UiPath and OpenAI communities to overcome these challenges.

Another challenge we encountered was designing the user interface of the MindMate website. As someone with ADHD myself, I know how important it is to keep things simple and easy to navigate, so we aimed to keep the design as minimalist as possible. However, we had to experiment with a few different designs and conduct user testing to ensure that the website was effective in meeting the needs of people with ADHD.

Overall, these challenges required us to be patient and persistent in finding solutions, and we had to rely on the support and collaboration of others to overcome them. Despite these challenges, we're really proud of the final product and are excited to see how it can help people with ADHD access reliable and distraction-free information.
