MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS AND LACK OF AVAIBILITY OF SUITABLE ALL-ROUND RESOURCE
Our project "MIND MENDER" addresses Mental Health Issues and the need to be aware about it. We were motivated for this project as during this lockdown and online era, depression and mental breakdowns are just a bit apart and most people are not aware as to how to handle it or don't even know what they are going through. Depression and mental instability during social isolation is common among teenagers and energetic youths. Experienced and knowing the gravity we decided to create a platform to share and resolve these issues.
SOLUTION
The project aims at helping people to get rid of their psychological problems by introspecting and understanding themselves through expert sessions, personalized counseling sessions, and curated blogs. It also focuses on building a community where like-minded people can socialise, share their experiences and problems, understand things better and prosper. Additionally, people can also get information about different mental health problems, tips, solutions, etc. The project targets to provide all relevant requirements at one place.
We are developing a website with the help of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap for the Front-end part. We believe this is the need of the hour and has a strong potential to impact lives of people positively.

Challenges we ran into

We first started with react but then shifted to html, CSS as this was our first project working as a team and not everyone was on the same level. We also faced some problems due to working with CSS and Bootstrap together at the beginning. Then while getting our project on github we faced problems to work as a team such as uploading the project and pushing, pulling and merging it together. There were few problems due to our code versions not syncing with each other, as it was our first time working on a project collaboratively. But with the help of Google and Youtube, we were able to get over all problems to a significant extent. And, we learnt a lot in the whole process.
