The problem MicroPay solves

In the current digital economy, users and merchants are forced to rely on outdated payment models:

Subscription Models: Require users to pay upfront (pre-paid) or trust merchants with delayed payments (post-paid), creating trust issues.
Advertisement Models: Deteriorate user experience, invade privacy, and waste valuable time, leading to user disengagement.

Challenges I ran into

A notable hurdle we encountered was the integration with the Lumio testnet, specifically issues related to the utilization of testnet tokens within the Pontem wallet for executing transactions. This challenge was pivotal as it directly impacted our ability to demonstrate MicroPay's functionalities in a real-world scenario.

Understanding the criticality of this issue, we promptly explored alternative solutions that could align with Lumio's infrastructure without compromising the security and efficiency of our micropayment system. After thorough research and testing, we decided to switch to the Petra wallet for our demonstration purposes.
