The problem Metopia - Metobadge solves

Network State is the fantasy for people who believe in the coherent form of decentralized self-governed organization. With or without a robust economic system, self motivation is one the essential elements to achieve a stabe state of Network State. However, the current solutions heavily rely on coins & tokens, which only reflect limited contributions and hardly extendable.
To cover a larger proportion of contributions we developed Metobadge, to prove and reward community contributions. Creators and adminitrators of an organizations are able to issue their own badge collections, and provide various achievements with customized eligibility criterias, which will be proved in badge's metadata. The badge contract implements ERC721 for the popularity and readability.
The badge system is built together with the voting model we developed before the Hackathon. The idea is to applied the achievement proofs to the voting model and provide the basic value of the rewards.

Challenges I ran into

The badge system is designed rather sophisticated, which would take much efforts to complete. We currently finished the MVP version of it which allows issueing a collection, creating an eligibility criteria, verification, and claiming. And we will continue the development after the Hackathon duration. The hardest part is to design the authentication. Who are priviledged to prove the validity of the contributions. There's always a dilemma of efficiency and decentralization. After some attempts we decided to divide the power between the platform, administrators, and users. The administrators will sign the proofs, which automatically calculated by the platform, and rendered by users themselves. The platform is designed to adapt nodes to index data or the protocol like Aragon Court to handle the post-verification.
