Sharing large files may consume large amount of data and also result in the replication of a file in different storage URLs. Hence, data is wasted. In order to reduce data wastage, we introduce you to "Merkle Drive".
Merkle Drive uses the Merkle Trees file system to share files in a sustainable manner. Unlike regular file systems which consume unwanted data to store the replica of a whole file, only the content hash of a file is shared. By this way, Merkle Drive avoids unwanted data consumption and creates a sustainable and energy efficient internet for the future.
Learning to use Moralis and IPFS was interesting.
