A simple yet effective mood tracker that not only tracks and predicts your mood but also behaves as a silent medical analyser that keeps your mental state in check with the help of a doctor!

The problem Mental Health Tracker solves

Mental Health is one of the most important issues in the world at the moment, be it for teens or adults. Mental health awareness in India is very limted along with social stigma attached to it makes it almost an ignored topic. By using our app anyone and everyone can track their mental health by monitoring their daily behavior and mood. The most important yet the most ignored aspect of mental health is awareness that our app triggers. It will help people to improve their mental health and prevent bad behaviour, anxiety attacks and anger pangs and also prevent suicidal thoughts through the inputs and suggestions our app will give them. By doing a first quick registration of general details, we will prompt the user at a fixed time every alternate day to enter answers to simple 3 MCQ questions along their mood which at the end of the month will make up the monthly mental report which will have an analysis by a psychologist. Doctors will study their behaviour and will give their inputs, which along with the daily data will form the MMR- Monthly mental report. This will provide them with a private platform through which they can directly connect to a doctor from the vicinty of their phones and be aware about their mental states. It will help people to improve their social behaviour and thus prevent mishaps and suicidal thoughts and will help them to improve and to move towards a better mental health.

Challenges we ran into

Implementation of graphs in synchronisation with SQLite Database. Connecting our application to an online community of psychologists, such as eLuma, which will analyse the Monthly mental reports of our users, which can be a future scope for our project. Mood predictions for the next day using Machine Learning which could prompt the users about their mood or behaviour in both a positive and negative manner.
