A mental health companion app is a digital tool designed to provide support, guidance, and resources for individuals seeking to manage their mental health and well-being. It may offer features such as happiness scores, self-care tips, meditation exercises, therapy resources, and emergency calls.
During the process of constructing this model, we encountered several obstacles, such as incorporating an ML model into Android Java, adding the fit band functionality, and enhancing the application's user engagement. We faced several bugs and resolved them while implementing the ML model in our app using Java on the Android platform. Additionally, we incorporated more interactive features to increase user engagement. Each time the app crashed, it was necessary to debug it. It was time-consuming to train the ML model, and we had to search for a suitable model that could be used to compute the happiness index. In the end, we were able to resolve all the bugs and turn our app into a high-quality product. Along the way, we gained knowledge of various new things, concepts, and technicalities.
