Challenges I ran into

Solution: iterated on contract architecture, tested with Foundry/Hardhat, and simplified settlement logic.

Integrating with Base, adapting tooling and deployment to ensure smooth user experience on a Layer 2.

Solution: leveraged Base documentation, ran extensive testnet deployments, and optimized for speed.

Frontend & UX complexity, making prediction markets intuitive for crypto newcomers.

Solution: simplified the UI with clear CTAs, defaults, and step-by-step flows so users can bet in seconds.

Liquidity & incentives – prediction markets are only fun if active.

Solution: added meme-driven incentives and focused on community-driven markets to bootstrap engagement.
