The problem Medwave solves

It allows users to keep track of their medical records on a regular basis and includes a Mental Health Corner which comes with a journal entry feature, a mood checker, breath control, and a calming music set-up that includes brain frequency waves. The 'Chat With Me' AI bot also lets users chat with us and explain to us our symptoms and moods so that we can assist them further. The blog/resources corner lets users post blog entries updating other patients about their progress or read write-ups by other medical professionals and new researchers in the medical field. There is also a First-Aid directory which provides a step-by-step guide on treating minor injuries and also comes with a CPR guide. One of the key features of the website is that it lets you book a doctor's appointment with just a tap while not taking in a lot of user inputs and makes the process quite faster. There is also a BMI calculator in the top right corner which lets the user check their fitness.

Challenges we ran into

We were initially planning to build our website using the Python framework Flask since a majority of us knew the Python language well beforehand. However, while importing the werkzeug module to authorize the passwords entered in the database, the program displayed an error saying it couldn't identify the import called "url_decode". We tried all kinds of methods to get rid of this error, we even thought of removing the entire module from the code but then the website would still show an error while running. We much later found out that it was due to the fact that the command in the module no longer existed in the newest version, by then we had progressed quite far with the code and it was difficult to make a new password checker entirely, we tried to run flask again separately but the issue still persisted somehow so ultimately we decided to program our website using basic html-css and nodejs format. We were disappointed that we couldn't include a lot of features that we had planned initially and we felt like a lot of time had been wasted while working with Flask but then we tried our best to incorporate as much as we could in our site. Also while we made a certain animation file in Figma, we couldn't find a way to display it on our site since it didn't export correctly. Also, the file could not be converted into a video directly since it requires the paid version of Figma so we decided to screen record and crop.
