Medication Management: It allows users to easily manage their medications by providing automatic medication tracking, personalized medication recommendations, & integration with healthcare providers. When a user purchases medicine, he or she can take a picture of the prescription or medicine, and with a single click, the healthcare app can automatically scan the medicine name and quantity. The app will automatically detect a number of medicines & will just ask how many times per weekday and times per day the doctor has instructed the user to take the medicine. After receiving this information, the app will create a schedule for the user to take the medicine. This helps users stay on track with their medication schedules and avoid potential side effects or interactions.
Reminder Notifications: The app sends reminders to users when it's time to take their medication, helping to prevent missed doses and ensuring that medications are taken at the appropriate times. If a user forgets to take the medication our app automatically reschedules.
Medicine Scanner: By using AI/ML technology, the app can easily scan a medicine's name and dosage information from a photo taken by the user. This saves time and reduces the risk of errors that can occur when a user manually enters information.
Ask for Symptoms: The app's symptom checker feature allows users to enter their symptoms and receive a list of potential causes and recommendations for treatment. This feature can help users self-diagnose common ailments and make informed decisions about their health.
Doctors at doorstep: We aim to connect local doctors through our app to provide at-home lab tests and general checkups within 30 mins.
Health Record Storage: The app provides users with a secure and convenient way to store their health records, including medication history, lab results, and doctor's notes. This allows users to easily share their health information with healthcare providers and access it when needed.
Integrating AI/ML with the app: Developing an AI/ML model that can accurately read and extract information from medicine packaging images can be challenging. It requires collecting and labeling a large dataset of images, training the model with the right parameters, and optimizing the algorithm to run efficiently on mobile devices.
User research and experience design: Creating an app that is easy to use, accessible, and engaging requires extensive user research and experience design. Conducting user surveys, focus groups, and usability tests can help identify user pain points and preferences, and inform the app's design and functionality.
Differentiation from other medication reminder apps: There are many medication reminder apps available in the market, so creating a unique value proposition and differentiating from competitors is crucial. This can be achieved through advanced features such as AI-powered medication tracking, personalized medication recommendations, and integration with healthcare providers.
Security and privacy concerns: Healthcare apps handle sensitive user data, such as medication schedules and personal health information, which requires robust security and privacy measures. Incorporating measures such as end-to-end encryption, secure data storage, and user access controls can help protect user data and prevent unauthorized access.
In addition to these challenges, other technical considerations such as computer vision and OpenCV could be important for image processing and medication recognition, and integration with backend APIs and databases could be necessary for tracking orders and user accounts
