The problem MediSearch solves
- Time Saving for Doctors: With AI-driven disease prediction and prescription generation, MediSearch significantly reduces the time and effort required for manual diagnosis, allowing doctors to focus more on patient care and treatment.
- Enhanced Transparency: By leveraging Blockchain, the platform ensures a transparent and immutable record of patient information, diagnoses, and prescribed treatments. This fosters trust among all stakeholders, including patients, doctors, and pharmacists, thereby enhancing the overall integrity of the healthcare system
Challenges we ran into
1. LLama 2-7B Model Deployment: Limited GPU resources posed a significant challenge during the deployment of the Large Language Model (LLama 2-7B). To address this, we leveraged ngrok within Google Colab, creating a secure tunnel for seamless API deployment and model accessibility.
2. Integrating MetaMask and Smart Contract Interaction: Initially, integrating MetaMask with the application and ensuring smooth communication with the Solidity smart contract posed notable challenges. The team encountered issues related to the complex process of reading and writing data to the contract, causing disruptions in data retrieval and transaction execution. Through rigorous testing and collaborative problem-solving, we navigated through these obstacles, eventually resolving the complexities by using EtherJS.
3. Deployment Challenge on Netlify: We encountered difficulty deploying on Netlify due to the HTTP LLama2 API tunneling by ngrok, which is not compatible with Netlify's HTTPS requirements.
