The healthcare sector faces persistent challenges related to the integrity and transparency of patient data and pharmaceutical supply chains. To address these issues, this project proposes the development of a decentralized patient and health drug storage system leveraging blockchain technology. The primary objectives are to enhance transparency in healthcare operations, safeguard patient data, and combat the proliferation of counterfeit drugs.
The proposed system employs a decentralized blockchain network, ensuring that patient records and pharmaceutical supply chain data are stored securely across a distributed ledger. Smart contracts are utilized to automate and enforce the execution of predefined rules and conditions, guaranteeing data integrity and adherence to regulatory requirements.
For patient data management, the system allows patients to have ownership and control over their health records. Each patient's medical history, treatment plans, and diagnostic results are securely stored on the blockchain, accessible only through cryptographic keys held by the patient and authorized healthcare providers. This empowers individuals with greater control over their health information, fostering trust in the healthcare system.
In the pharmaceutical supply chain aspect, the system employs blockchain to create an immutable record of drug provenance from manufacturing to distribution. Each drug batch is assigned a unique identifier that is recorded on the blockchain, providing stakeholders with a transparent and auditable trail. Consumers, healthcare providers, and regulatory bodies can easily verify the authenticity of drugs, mitigating the risks associated with counterfeit medications.
The system also proposes an AI assistant for user queries which aids in diagnosing the symptoms of the user with the Help of a LLM
Integrating smart contract with frontend, managing authorisation and access permissions for user.
