The problem Medi Tracker solves

According to a article by NCBI(National Center for Biotechnology Information), the treatment of chronic illnesses commonly includes the long-term use of pharmacotherapy. Although these medications are effective in combating disease, their full benefits are often not realized because approximately 50% of patients do not take their medications as prescribed and move out of their medicine routine. Our app makes the task of sticking to medical routine very easy by tracking their medicine timing, dosage, stocks and also medicine buying at the same place.

Challenges we ran into

There were many challenges faced by us, talking about specific one is updating data in room database and to get live data from background task, then we learnt about kotlin coroutines and how to call a function that runs in background to solve the problem.
