The problem Medhac solves

So, this project is basically aimed to help the underprivileged section of the society and the middle class who always panics and rushes to consult the doctor even for common diseases. This website would serve as an online health consultant wherein people would have to enter their illness or disease, the symptoms caused by it, and for how long have they been affected. They will then receive a mail where the correct medication would have been listed and home remedies if any. It will try to ensure that the patient has been cured. The medicine database would have been built by certified doctors and verified pharmacists. It will also reduce malpractices followed by uncertified and fake doctors. The long term goal would be to get this website recognized by the Government so that the mails sent could be used as e-prescriptions to directly order the listed medicines hassle-free. This is a completely non-functional static prototype targeted to showcase my idea.

Challenges I ran into

As it was Diwali and I was running short of time, I was unable to make the website forms functional. Could not implement the backend of the website nor could I use any database to store and manage user data. I just used formspree.io to make the contact form working so that I could get constructive feedback from fellow hackers. Tried to make the interface simple and user-friendly. Ensured that the website is responsive and mobile-first.
