The problem MedBed solves

This will help patients to avoid reaching the flooded hospitals and get the treatment at the earliest.
If the patient already knows the number of empty beds in all hospitals near him, he will go accordingly to the hospital which has empty beds and avoid going to the busy hospitals and thus save time.
This application increases the transparency in the booking of hospital beds across the country.
It will save both energy and time for patients- As the population of India is around 1.4 billion it sometimes becomes difficult to find beds at hospitals. As many people have to wait for months to find beds. And many people come to the city for medical reasons, it can be a chaotic process for them. They wait outside the hospital and have to travel a lot for multiple visits just to get an appointment. This website provides a solution.
This will help in the even distribution of the patients across the hospitals and will reduce strain on health workers. Sometimes during rush hours and the patients are not sure about which hospital has the bed avaialbility.

Challenges we ran into

Our team consists of some members with only knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS and we were developing our project in React JS. So we faced many project integration problems while developing the application.
