Medcare is a webapp designed with a simple User interface so that Elders can easily interact with it
The problem Med Care solves
- It has a medicine timer in which users can schedule the medicines that they have to eat.
- It has an call to ambulance feature.
- Its a webapp in which users can login and can also create their account.
4)It has a covid 19 information which has links to covid-19 stats page, some of the best articles elders can checkout
related to covid-19 .
Challenges we ran into
This being our first hackathon it was difficult to make a functioning web app in a limited time frame .
We faced some huge challenges while working on the backend of webapp. And these are listed below:
1)Axios library was not working because of the security reasons So we have to figure out a way to find out about how to change permissions for different site.
2) Due to Some bug in .pug file while site was broken . So we had to go through all the code multiple times to fix it.
We also faced some minor challenges in frontend .
- It was difficult to color coordinate the website such that it doesn't put much strain on eyes.
- We faced some difficulty in debugging css to make the animations and transitions smooth.
