The problem MechanicMate solves

Problem:
In today’s world , vehicle owners often face a lot of challenges struggling to find the severity of damages caused to their vehicle, and finding the best nearby mechanics which have the expertise for that particular problem. Not only it saves time , but also the costs of the users.
We worked on this problem because one of us ourselves faced it. Once while traveling to a place , our car faced some engine problem , it got heated up and there was a risk to continue the journey . So we checked out google maps which got us to a cycle repair shop which can only fix minor problems like tire puncture. It wasted a lot of time and cost and therefore we planned to address this problem and here we are with the solution.
Solution :
The solution to the problem lies in the development of MechanicMate, a web-based platform which provides an all-in-one solution for vehicle owners.
We trained an ML Model which finds the severity of the damage caused to the vehicle and thereby recommends the best mechanic shop nearest to the vehicle which has the expertise to address the user’s particular problem . We give a chance to users to either upload an image or capture an image of the damage caused or by selecting one of the predefined problems which most of the users frequently face. And then our model gives the information about the severity of the damage and recommends the nearest mechanic shop .
This actually saves a lot of time , all you have to do is give us your problem and our website will give you the best solution.
