An Analytics Project Deployed On Web For Users to Decide Which Edu Platform Would Be Best Suited For Their Needs
The problem Maverick solves
Now-a-days everyone is running behind doing online courses so the very first question that comes to our mind is which platform can actually help us ? Particularly in this project we worked on analysing two very famous platforms - Udemy and Coursera and tried to analyze their last data. Our project will help student's or even professionals who are willing to kick start their journey by doing some online courses. We have created 2 separate dashboards which will be helpful for people to take their decision on which platform to invest for their education.
Challenges we ran into
There were a few bugs with sawo API integration but the community mentors were so kind and helpful that they helped us get back on track in no time.
The largest issue we found was the unavailability of proper datasets but we were able to manage with what we had received and made a beautiful dashboard in a tableau that remains appealing to users.
This is the first time we have used the flask application, it was a hectic journey trying to figure out the project and implementing it at the same time, but we never gave up and lost sight. Infact we went on with it.
Then other dominant bugs are laying on the web development stage where we faced a lot of issued with layout but still manage to move past those and create a good web page through which visualizations have become so much more simpler.
