The problem नुक्कड़Mart solves

During these times it is necessary that we minimise human contact as much as possible. But, we still need essential goods for basic necessities to carry on with our life. It is evident that if a consumer visits any store for purchasing any item, they may encounter other people increase the risk of infection.

The app will focus on helping people get necessities during the lockdown, by providing them with time slots to visit the stores and collect their items during that specific time slot, decreasing the interaction between the user and others.
We also plan to further minimise the interaction by opting for online mode of payment, reducing cash or hand-to-hand transactions.

The slot booking system will provide the user with only those slots in which the user bookings are minimum.

Challenges we ran into

This hackathon was a tough one, working on and completing the project in such a short time frame was definitely a difficult task. We encountered problems while handling the back-end on Firebase in such a short time frame, but we were able to tackle it in time and finished developing the prototype version of the app.
As we haven't handled back-end technologies previously, so we focused on the front-end, and the app currently focuses mainly on the front-end, but we are still working and learning on how to deal with the back-end will come up with a solution for it.
