Redefining an album as an onchain fan experience.
The problem Maravilla City solves
Most music platforms are passive and extractive — artists upload, fans stream, and that’s it. There’s little ownership, connection, or creativity. Artists are boxed into limited revenue options, and fans are treated like data points.
Maravilla City flips that model.
It’s a direct-to-fan platform where:
Artists launch music, drops, quests, and interactive experiences onchain, with full creative and financial control.
Fans listen to unreleased tracks, view exclusive videos, chat with an AI-powered artist companion, collect media, earn XP, join a community, and share their imagination onto a social feed.
It’s more than a platform, it’s a living music world where discovery is interactive, fandom is rewarded, and culture is co-created.
Challenges I ran into
One key challenge was building an onchain experience while the underlying tools and standards were rapidly evolving. Onchain UX expectations change fast, wallets, mint flows, and token gating mechanics needed constant iteration to stay intuitive for fans.
We also faced hurdles stitching together multiple protocols (minting, subscriptions, gamification, etc.) into one seamless experience.
