The problem Magic Ruler solves

Our Magic Ruler app uses augmented reality technology (AR) to tape measure the real world with your smartphone’s camera. The way Magic Ruler works is as follows: with your Android device's camera, the app will detect different surfaces and reference points to measure. Once it has detected a surface, you have to click on a button on screen to begin measuring. In that plane will appear all the reference points and the measurements between them. User can choose the measuring unit(m, cm, inch, feet etc.) as per the convenience. There is an marker in our app which always remain in the real world with reference to the center of the screen of mobile phone which guide the user to choose start and end point for measurement. Our app is a practical solution of measurement of real time objects with maximum accuracy and also very convenient as compare to physical measuring tools.
