The problem Love Lock Ring solves

We help solve two main problems. 1) dishonesty and cheating in a relationship (dating multiple people at the same time when in a supposedly exclusive relationship) 2) social pressure and environmental impact of getting a diamond ring.

Using Algorand technology, events and commitments between the two will be timestamped, making it impossible to lie about their relationship status. We will also use Algorand technology and possibly smart contact to make sure one can only purchase the ring once in a given relationship (thinking tied the purchase to one's unique identifier).

Of course, if the relationship did not work out. The NFT ring will turn black but one's past relationship records will still be stored on Algorand, making the person impossible to lie about their past.
