A simple app for all your lost and found items.
The problem Lost and Found App solves
With somewhat a close behaviour of Instagram, this app can track all the items what you might lost by posting some information about it. At the same time, you can also check all the articles which are found and are posted by people who found the lost articles.One future prospect of this project is that we can add push notifications for the website and also make a chat interface to contact the person to which he/she has lost his/her items with the person who has found them.
Challenges we ran into
We tried to integrate it to a full stack application using React Js and Php. But connecting these two was very difficult and time taking. So we had to switch from React Js to simple HTML, CSS and JavaScript to which our Php backend can be easily connected. We also we ready to use Tailwind.css but unfortunately we had to remove that too because it was overriding a few of the self-writted CSS classes resulting in a distorted layout of the page.
