Private Payment Links on Canton

The problem slinky solves

The problem slinky solves is that it makes claiming/redeeming and using tokens easier for people while allowing them to remain fully anonymous using the Daml contracts that we wrote and are able to be used on the site currently. The combination of making payments easier with just a link that leaks nothing, does not save to a database of any sort and keeps trust in the sender, it positions us to be in a great position for making payments easier, and more private.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges during the implementation of canton's daml contracts and we made sure to adhere to the guidelines. We used the hackathon guidelines and had to go and talk to the devs at the canton booth about the issues, we got it fixed and were able to work on it later, although we were not able to fully deploy it to devnet, we got really close and I managed to make it still work on a live demo link with the sandbox canton ledger on the website, running just as similarly to how a devnet would on the Canton Network.

Use of AI tools and agents

We used Claude Code for helping with the codebase, but there are no agents or any integration of that sort to the actual project.
