The problem Loca-ly solves

As few days back our univeristy exams were taken in offline mode and we were made to move to the allocated centres for the same, which was a daily travel of almost 100km or even more for most of the students like me and friends. It was then that we realised that taking PGs nearby our exam centres for some days could have saved a lot of our money and time and so we decided to make an application which could solve this problem for us. Our app loca.ly integrates the PGs of an area we can find a number of PGs in any area along with specific filters and features added to them, such as the rent per month, roomtype, avaialability of laundry, kitchen,etc, everything just by sitting at our homes.
The main feature of our app loca.ly is that along with showing us the PGs around any area after registering in the app, we also can see the list of safe and unsafe areas around any place with just a one click. We have made it possible with AI and flag system in django backend.
Loca.ly makes our lives easier with so many features integrated in just one app. We have also provided a security button in our app which can be triggered in case of any emergency at any area i.e if a woman (or even anyone) does not feel safe at an area and the exact geo location of that person will be sent to the police withing a few seconds. So this app not only solves the rental housing easier for anyone in any corner of India but also tells us if any area is going to be safe for us which will also include reviews by the users in the form of quizzes available for every registered user which can be attempted only once a month for area review. Not only this our app also lists all the jobs at any area which can be searched with filters like pay, location, skills or even worktype(if work from home ).
we can also explore jobs, rental houses, PGs, apartments, safe areas,etc nearby our location, specifically within 5km of range.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating the geocoding API for nearby places of every listed PG/apartment was difficult.
