Unlocking Value, Bridging Futures: Your NFTs, Your Loans

The problem LoaNF solves

Traditionally, using Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) as collateral for loans has been a cumbersome process involving multiple blockchains and lending platforms. Each blockchain operates independently, requiring users to navigate distinct platforms to secure loans, resulting in complex and fragmented borrowing experiences. The need for constant oversight and engagement with different lending platforms results in inconvenient multi-chain repayments. Coordinating these repayments across diverse platforms leads to added fees, complexities, and inefficiencies in managing NFT-backed loans.

Our platform aims to simplify this cumbersome process. By offering a centralized solution, users can aggregate their borrowing power from diverse blockchains, creating tokens equal to the total NFT collateral value. These tokens serve as unified collateral across multiple chains, streamlining the borrowing process and reducing complexities associated with managing loans on different platforms.

Challenges we ran into

Throughout our project development, we encountered several notable challenges:
NFT Data Retrieval Issues -
Fetching available NFT data proved challenging, impacting the completeness of information available on our platform. This hindered user insights into the full range of NFTs.

Particle.js Deprecation -
The deprecation of Particle.js version caused integration difficulties, affecting the visual aspects of our platform. Overcoming this hurdle required significant reworking for a seamless visual experience.

Wormhole Integration Complexity -
Integrating Wormhole messaging, essential for our platform, posed challenges that required thorough troubleshooting and adjustments to ensure seamless functionality.
