The problem Link.Berry solves

Our project at this hackathon builds on this concept but adds a groundbreaking twist via Link.Berry. Our system doesn't blindly assign value. It's more nuanced, considering the volume and quality of connections. As users cultivate meaningful interactions, endorsements, and genuine content engagement, their “slice” value surges on Link.Berry.

But what fuels this surge? Slices. Think of them as dynamic shares of one's professional brand. As a user's professional network grows and engages, so does the demand and worth of their slices. Challenges we ran into

1. LinkedIn Official APIs - Could not get access to linkedin official APIs except linked openID auth which returns no value. So we had to build a scraping script using python that scrapes the user's profile for details like profile picture, number of connections, number of followers and activity history. We also ran into challenges while trying to dockerize the application for scraping as linkedin throws a captcha verification for accout login before the scraping can begin and hence we are limited to run the scraping script on localhost.

• Looking to build better solution for next update v 1.1.0 for running dockerzied solution for scraping or get access to linkedin official APIs to fetch data related to user's profile that is to be utilized by the smart contract to drive the value of user's slice

2. Oracle - In order to keep smart contract far from manipulations in the value of days spent on the app, no of connections and followers on the linkedin and age of linkedin profile, need to build an oracle or use an existing solution that can help smart contract directly fetch these information into the contract and make it decentralized
