Lingkoop
Transforming Tickets, Empowering Creator
The problem Lingkoop solves
Lingkoop emerges as an innovative solution to support artists in overcoming the challenges of funding. We understand that behind every gig, there is a significant need for funds to bring an artistic vision to life. From production costs, venue rentals, and promotions to transportation, everything requires a substantial budget.
Lingkoop make artists and fans can now connect in a deeper and mutually beneficial way. Fans are not just purchasing tickets to attend a show; they also have the opportunity to become investors who support the artist's creative journey. Through a blockchain-based revenue-sharing token system, fans can enjoy the rewards from the success of the performances they back.
Lingkoop strength lies in the security and transparency provided by blockchain technology. Every transaction, whether it's ticket purchases or revenue distribution, is recorded transparently and securely on the blockchain network. This ensures that all parties involved, both artists and fans, receive their rights and benefits fairly. With Lingkoop, we are not only creating new opportunities for artists to realize their works, but we are also building an ecosystem where creativity is valued, supported, and empowered by its own community.
Challenges I ran into
Integration of Two Contracts:
I am integrating two smart contracts: an ERC-1155 ticket purchase contract (lingkoop.sol) and a revenue distribution contract (RevenueToken.sol). This integration presents a challenge, as I need to ensure that when an NFT ticket is purchased, it directly triggers the distribution contract.
Distribution Contract:
The distribution contract is an ERC-1155 NFT contract that stores data on the number of NFTs to be distributed both to the public and to the creator. This contract performs several calculations to ensure that the revenue provided is accurate.
Revenue Token Purchase:
In the distribution contract, there is a revenue token purchase mechanism. I want to ensure that this is flexible, allowing users to purchase based on the tokens they hold. This presents its own set of challenges.
