LIFETIME is a future life imagination DApp that allows players to create and nurture virtual lifes on the blockchain.
The problem LIFETIME solves
Users can cultivate their unique virtual lives on the blockchain. With regular care and the passage of blockchain time, they can witness the growth and transformation of their exclusive virtual life. Each virtual life's genetic code determines its appearance and vitality, making every user's virtual life unique. Through "chain nurturing," users can experience the freedom of creating and managing virtual lives granted by blockchain technology. Finally, we have resolved the current issue of ERC721 NFTs not having on-chain data. We have fully written all NFT data on-chain and provide various interactive features for an engaging user experience!
Challenges I ran into
First, due to the 24KB size limit of Ethereum smart contract files, it is almost impossible to write NFT data, such as videos or multiple images, into the contract. I began to brainstorm ways to present NFT data and appearance, eventually considering using formats like SVG, HTML, and JSON to solve this problem. By writing SVG, HTML, and JSON strings in the Solidity language to represent NFT data, and after extensive technical research and mental torment, I successfully embedded p5.js into an HTML file, resulting in a beautiful and growing tree!
