The problem Lemonade- Onchain Event Ticketing solves

Emporing event organizers and meme communities with:

• permissionless commerce
• additional channels of revenue
• utility for their token with gated access to events, meetups and experiences
• seamless onchain payment experience with Coinbase Smartwallet

Challenges we ran into

Building the relayer functionality and optimizing for gas fees was a little challenging. We wanted to build a sustainable rewards program into the smart contracts such that:

• Event hosts create a vault on the ticketing smart contract
• Host can assign payment splits to co-hosts
• Hosts can allow for breaking the payment into two parts (X% deposit; Y% post approval else X% refunded if application is declined)
• Contract collects 3% service fees that remains in the contract; this is deployed back to the best event organizers every 6 months
• Gas optimization: event host and co-hosts can pool payments in their vaults and pull the assigned splits once, as opposed to guests needing to pay gas to push payments each transaction

Integrating the Coinbase smartwallet into our platform was also a little challenging as the transaction signature was different from how we had built testing with metamask and wallet connect.

How we overcame the challenges:
