Problem We Solved
-Legal Lens addresses a common problem: the lack of accessible, simplified legal knowledge for the general public.
-Most people find laws complicated, difficult to interpret, and inaccessible without legal expertise.
-Traditional legal resources (books, websites) are filled with jargon, making them intimidating for non-lawyers.
-There is a lack of interactive, engaging platforms to make legal education fun and easy to consume.
Our Solution:
We created an AI-powered platform that breaks down complex legal terms and processes into plain, understandable language. By integrating a legal chatbot, daily gamified quizzes, and real-life case studies, we help users learn laws in an engaging and interactive way.

AI Integration (Gemini API)
Finding the right balance between AI-generated explanations and real legal accuracy was challenging.
We had to fine-tune prompts and sanitize AI responses to ensure clarity without compromising correctness.
Latency and API limitations required optimization to improve user experience. -
Case Studies Module
-Curating real-life legal case studies and formatting them into digestible pieces took more time than expected.
-Mapping case complexities into a simple UI while maintaining educational value was tricky.
-Ensuring the cases were both relevant and compliant with ethical/legal guidelines was a key hurdle. -
Gamified Quiz Engine
-Implementing a daily quiz system while ensuring questions were meaningful (not just trivia) was complex.
-We had to build a mechanism for question randomization and difficulty scaling.
-Designing a smooth user feedback loop (scoring, streaks, rewards) that keeps users engaged daily. -
UI/UX Challenges
Achieving a modern, responsive, and accessible design in limited time while using multiple libraries (Shadcn/UI, TailwindCSS, Lucide).
Balancing multiple features (chatbot, quizzes, case studies) without overwhelming users on the landing page.
