The problem Legal Assitance solves

This project solves the problem of accessible legal help by allowing users to describe their legal issues in plain language ) and instantly get contact info for a suitable lawyer and chat with them. It simplifies legal discovery and connects users to help without needing prior legal knowledge or expensive consultations.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges we encountered was setting up Firebase for real-time chat functionality. Integrating Firebase with the website required ensuring smooth communication between the frontend and backend, especially for real-time updates. We faced difficulties in managing the chat state, ensuring that messages were sent and received instantly, and dealing with the proper authentication and security rules for users. Debugging and troubleshooting these issues to achieve a seamless, end-to-end chat experience was a time-consuming but rewarding part of the project.
