The problem LearnRack solves

YouTube is a popular platform that many people use to access educational resources, but it was not designed specifically for learning. One of the drawbacks of using YouTube for learning is that it does not offer features to track progress in real-time or provide visual motivation. Where as we also need to jump back and forth between a note taking app and youtube while studying. Additionally, the suggested videos that appear on the side of the page can be a distraction and disrupt the learner's focus. LearnRack is a platform that was created to address these issues and enhance the learning experience. It is specifically designed to optimize the learning process and provide a more focused, effective and enjoyable way to study.

Challenges we ran into

We faced many issues while building our project like

• integrating auth0
• working with apyhub APIs
• setting up the project on replit
• integrating cockroach

We overcome few of them by asking mentors and browsing online.
The mentor helped us with the APIs.
We then deployed our site on replit after some debugging.
However , we still couldn't overcome every issue as there are still some bugs in the auth0 login flow.
And we couldn't get cockroachDB to work with Django
