Our team has created a software that can be used to digitally -monitor water consumption -detect and predict leaks -shut off water flow
The problem LDWM Software(Leak Detection and Water Monitoring) solves
-Makes it easier to track water consumped by residents and industries which can be difficult to do in a big city
-Often Leakages are only detected once they've catastrophic, but our software will detect leaks in the early stages.
-Physical presence to open and close valves and check quality of water isn't required when using this software.
Challenges we ran into
-Data related to past pipeline leakages were difficult to obtain
-Ran into errors when data was transferred from the simulation into the website.
