The problem LazyFingers solves
This project helps the people to access their computers conveniently and makes using computer much more fun.
It lets you control your computer and its various features without even touching it , by some gestures or signs .
It helps one to be in its comfort zone and still able to perform his / her task.
Challenges we ran into
- We tried using multiprocessing to improve the performance of the cursor but were unable to do that as the code initialised Tensorflow recursively, which made it slower instead of making it faster.
- Our team members made individual features as modules but we faced a lot of problems while gluing them together.
- We were not able to make the code more modular because of multiple infinite loops.
- We also tried incorporating a volume control functionality in the final project but could not even after hours of debugging.
The feature exists as an independent module right now.
