The problem Laundry Management System solves

Our project will help eliminating long and time consuming queues at laundry desks in hostels. Students will mention the number and type of items before hand, thus making the process a lot more efficient. The QR code implemented in our management system also helps in eliminating the need of manual collection of clothes. The system can also keep the laundry record of the student and will provide an online receipt, and as there is no physical
receipt one wont have to worry about loosing the it.

Challenges we ran into

Since we didn't have any previous experience in backend development, we had many troubles getting it to work. We had issues in getting the variables from flask into HTML. The login page took a lot of time to work properly as we were not able to redirect the page properly at first. CSS also posed some issues at some places. The QR code we were generating was not being displayed on the page. The horizontal navigation bar also took more time to implement than we expected.
