Why are you participating for Based Africa?
The motivation behind our particicpation is to bring more Africans onchain through this RWA project. By participating in Based Africa, we will be solving real life problems in our local community on Base
What challenges are you focusing on?
In our local community, we are addressing local challenges focused on land grabbing, certificate forgery and real estate fraud.
How does your submission address this challenge?
Our project aims to solve these problems by providing adequate KYC solutions and onchain ID Verification to enhance trust amongst property buyers and sellers. We will also be adding the smart wallet features to also ensure transparency and ease of payments amongst the buyers and sellers.
Challenges we ran into
We experienced major challenges writing the smart contracts and most particularly the KYC verification for our users. We needed to write three smart contracts which will enable to the users to spend , stake and verify their onchain Idenitity which was the most difficult part and took us about one week to complete. On the front end, we had a major battle on building the project as we had to change our front end dev who did not understand the logic. We also needed sepolia Base test tokens for our smart contract developer to test run their smart contracts too.
