This project is an application of Land Registration System. India is a country where 91% of its area is covered by land, making land as the most valued possession of any individual in India. Current land registration & verification systems include an increasing number of fraud cases and loss of paperwork and court cases due to thousands of land records to maintain.
Some issues in maintaining land records are space constraints, fraud in Land Registry, poor maintenance of land records, lack of single window title verification and investigation system, .
To maintain a country registry of land ownership is not only expensive, and also a labor-intensive operation. So the aim behind building this project is to make the process of land registration flexible and decreases isssues in maintaining land records.
