A platform that connects these street children to educational opportunities and provides them with proper informal education to re-integrate them into formal schooling.
So why did we name it Kuiro? The life forward of street children is uncertain like a foggy day. With this initiative, we want to lift off the fog and make their path toward education clear.
In the youth-run program Kuiro, teachers and volunteers will try to build relationships with the kids, boost their self-esteem, and give them the informal and vocational education they need to improve their lives.
Kuiro web app is developed with the sole intent of tracking the children’s progress and managing donations/sponsorship for the children’s educational journey.
The main objectives of our project as a whole are:
We will help children with informal education by teaching them
How to communicate
Personal Hygiene
Vocational Training
Helping them with intrapersonal basic skills
Providing them with food, clothes, and shelter so they can give time to education instead of worrying about survival.
