Cultivating the Future of Agriculture

The problem KrishiHritu solves

Our civilization is based on its farmers. They are the ones who supply us with all of our sustenance. As a consequence, whether it is the smallest or the biggest nation, all of its citizens rely on farmers. KrishiHritu agricultural services is an initiative to inform and caution farmers about the weather in the upcoming days can help them to remain vigilant with the goal of assisting the agricultural community. Once a week, messages will be sent out telling farmers about the weather forecast for the following days. The website, which is accessible in many languages, has a resources part that informs farmers about the programmes and policies put in place by the government for their benefit. Additionally, it has a chatbot that instructs producers on how to increase farming production based on their region, soil type, and crop.

Challenges we ran into

Clearly defining your goals and requirements will make or break your website . It all starter with our vision website. That affects everything that follows.
The ideation phase came with discussions about
Who are our intended users?
What experience do we want to give them?
What are our must-have design features?
What are our technical requirements?
Choosing a tech stack that aligns with the problems we are trying to solve, is very important.
We had to make sure to choose a tech stack that has thorough documentation. It’s almost inevitable that you’ll run into a troubleshooting problem at some point during development. It’s important to think about the overall impression you want to leave on your users before you start making detailed decisions about how to build it. It was challenging for us. We wanted to ensure clear navigation, engaging visuals, easy-to-read typography. Discussion on a great UI took a lot of efforts. Good design certainly makes your application visually appealing, but it goes beyond just simple aesthetics. The goal is to make the actual user experience simple and accessible – and usable. It was a challenge to choose an attractive, attention-grabbing design that can keep users engaged with our site. But if we prioritize flashy visuals over customer needs, users will get frustrated trying to understand or navigate the site and are likely to bounce. All these things had to be kept in mind while building the project.
Keeping in mind the literacy level of farmers and making sure that the website is feasible and easy to use.
