The problem Krishi Kranti solves

  1. Debt burden and falling into the trap of
    middlemen were resolved.
  2. Suicide Rates of farmers can reduce significantly.
  3. The price disparity of crops in different regions was minimized as much as possible.
  4. Our model predicts the crop type suitable for a particular soil and region.

Challenges we ran into

  1. Deployment of certain technologies using Django.
  2. The collection of daily market prices as the API was quite complex.
  3. Synchronization of the backend of app and website.
  4. Seasonality of data because of which we utilized data of the past 30 years from our dataset of 100 years.
