The problem Konnect solves

The aim of Konnect is to make it easy to find people to work with on your tech projects. There are several professional networking platforms out there, but sometimes we just want to find people to collaborate with on personal projects which can prove challenging. We as designers and developers have experienced this first hand. For example, a designer will need a frontend engineer to convert designs for their personal website into a functional website/application.

Konnect solves this problem.

It’s simple - You set up your profile and you will get project recommendations based on your skills. You may apply for them with a single click and based on your profile + portfolio, the owners of the project will choose you.

You can post project ideas of your own too, which will be shown to people suitable for you (based on your listed requirements and tags)

Challenges we ran into

The most important part of a project is the small details about it, they make the difference between projects. Our app had many small things that made the experience that much better, for eg. quick searching in the dashboard, the beautiful register, and create project flow. Also, the whole flow of the app, recommending projects to a user, send application feature, accepting members feature were all very confusing at first when thought about, but were handled seamlessly and made things easy for our users.
