The problem Kinetic Protocol solves
DeFi generates billions in yield annually, but this capital only benefits individual users. Public goods projects such as open source, climate action, community programs struggle with inconsistent funding while requiring constant manual effort from donors.
Kinetic enables "set it and forget it" perpetual funding for public goods through automated DeFi yield donation.
Challenges I ran into
- Invalid Strategy Addresses Breaking On-Chain Data
Bug: Dashboard showed $0 for Capital Deployed and Public Goods Funded despite 40+ USDC deposited in strategies.
- Multi-Protocol Data Aggregation Fragmentation
Bug: Dashboard only displayed Morpho/Sky strategies (4 shown), completely missing Aave vaults despite successful deployment.
- ABI Format Incompatibility & Function Name Errors
Bug: Aave rewards claim failed with "abi.filter is not a function" and "Function 'claimRewardsToOwner' not found on ABI".
- Morpho Vaults V2 Role Model Enforcement
Bug: Initial PaymentSplitterYieldAdapter implementation failed with role check errors, Morpho rejected allocate() calls.
