The problem Karna solves

Karna is a web3 project that leverages blockchain and smart contract technology to facilitate transparent and efficient charitable initiatives. It provides a platform for individuals worldwide to contribute to humanitarian causes and participate in impactful campaigns. Karna streamlines the donation process, enables volunteer recognition, ensures fund accountability, and empowers the community to drive positive change.

Challenges we ran into

While building this project, we encountered several challenges. One of the hurdles was integrating the Rust programming language for implementing the smart contract on the blockchain. Additionally, synchronizing the backend (smart contract) with the frontend (React.js) to provide a seamless user experience posed another challenge. We overcame these obstacles by going through the available tutorials, building and testing examples applications and getting our doubts clarified in Concordium Discord support channel.
