The problem Karbon Offset solves

Karbon Offset promotes CO2e neutralization in the environment. With our project (i) We are helping Users and Service Firms to calculate the estimated amount to offset the CO2 equivalents emitted from the activities like shopping, delivery, and packaging. (ii) We are providing the solution to offset the change. We have created a backend logic that would estimate the total amount the user requires to pay in order to make the process/order carbon-neutral. We can provide this solution to the service firms with the help of integrated APIs. Also, we have developed a "Carbon Profile" where all the carbon-neutral processes held by the user will be displayed. More to it, the user will be able to see (i)Total Carbon Emitted (ii)Total Carbon Offset (iii)Net Offset (iv) Total Contribution. Hence we tried to solve the real-life problem of reducing carbon emission in the environment.

Challenges we ran into

We had planned to implement blockchain(Polygon) in order to make the transactions transparent. But, because of lack of experience in the above-mentioned technology and shortage of time, we were not able to add blockchain as a feature to our project.
