Challenges we ran into

The primary challenge was creating a secure, distributed key management system for Coinbase's MPC wallet. We had to carefully implement cryptographic protocols to ensure that no single party could access the complete private key while maintaining the ability to authorize transactions.

Handling swaps across multiple tokens was intricate. We developed a flexible routing mechanism that could:
