An application that makes the collection of waste materials to be recycled convenient and rewarding and also sells recycled articles .
The problem Junkster App solves
The app makes the collection of recyclable waste materials very easy and convenient by collecting the materials directly from the app users’ homes and also rewards them by paying them based on the type and amount of waste material , because of this more people can be encouraged to recycle waste materials. Apart from this our app also sells recycled products at a nominal cost.
The collection and deposition of recyclable materials ensures that the waste is managed properly and the selling of recycled products at a lower cost than market price encourages people to use more recycled products.
Challenges we ran into
Due to the time constraint we were unable to add the authorisation and payment feature to the app. Also finding the right recycling industries , small businesses that sell recycled products and transport facilities could not be completed within the given time schedule.
