It is a known fact that animators and manga artists are underpaid despite the booming popularity of anime all over the world. They generally overwork and are not paid enough for their efforts. Most entry-level artists earn merely 2 dollars per drawing. Although fans like us would want to support these artists, there isn't any established way to do so.
Moreover, as of today, there aren’t many popular anime-themed NFT trading card games in the market as well. It should be interesting enough for the otaku gamers to have a TCG revolving around anime characters and their power levels.
Through our anime-themed marketplace, these artists can sell their exclusive digital artwork as NFTs and connect to a larger audience. This will enable them to improve their income and also list their unique NFT on the Tezos blockchain. The Jenny marketplace also features unique anime characters themed NFTs and item cards which the players can purchase to build their ultimate collection. The players can also re-sell their cards on the marketplace.
We aim to build a strategic anime-themed TCG for the gamers who can enter into battle with their own card collection. The winner of every game will also be rewarded with brand new NFTs as incentives which they can add to their collection.
Jenny thus caters to the interests of both animators and anime fans.
Figuring out the smart contract endpoints for the marketplace was a challenge since we are new to the blockchain domain. We could eventually put things in place and deploy the contract successfully.
Integrating the contract endpoints to the frontend seemed difficult at first but we got the hang of it later.
Integrating the card game logic with the frontend (along with animations, graphics, etc.) will be completed in future
