The problem JanSahay solves

JanSahay aims to bridge the gap between citizens and government agencies by providing a simple, user-friendly platform for reporting local issues and tracking their progress.
The objective of our app is to streamline the complaint resolution process by making it easier for citizens to report these problems and for government agencies to respond to and resolve them in a timely manner.
By using our app, people can benefit from:

1. A convenient and accessible platform for reporting complaints.
2. Improved accountability and transparency in the complaint-resolution process.
3. More efficient use of government resources in addressing community issues.

   We believe that our app has the potential to make a real difference in improving the quality of life in communities across India. By empowering citizens to take an active role in their own communities and by providing government agencies with the tools they need to respond to complaints, we aim to create a more effective and responsive public services system.

Challenges we ran into

The major challenge that our team faced during this project was creating an ML model for our Image verification task and hosting it as an API so that it is easier to use in our Flutter application. We tried different methods and finally shifted to making a get request from another API to do our Image Verification task.
The other challenge we faced was that we were a newbie working with the backend, so we struggled a lot in connecting the front end with the back end part. Stack overflow and medium resources were our go-to places for any queries.
